Does anyone know what the standard package would be if you were made redundant? Is it be a flat amount? eg 2 months salary or based on age and years of service? I really hope I dont get to find out from first hand experience but i understand another round of cuts are looming for my firm so i need to plan for the worst.
I work in Corporate Finance in Houston and they made announcement that they were laying off a ton of people. 2 weeks pay for each year of service plus medical for a year paid for by the company. You also get paid for vacation/pto left behind.
