Porter Stansberry (aka Will Ferrell’s half-brother): Is this guy just cashing in on the fear of a potential dollar collapse or is he on to something? I think the risks are there but he seems to discount the fact that the US is a major producer of goods, services and human capital to the world, and not just another banana republic. Having said that, what would happen in a complete dollar collapse is pretty scary. I may buy some farmland in Vermont just to be safe…
