This is related to the hypothesis testing…

Are we going to be tested on the computation of the test statistics as well? Kaplan Schweser notes say we do not need to remember the complex formulae and simply understand the derivation and concept?

So, are we supposed to calculate the test statistics as well?

I would say it is better to be prepared for this, rather than not. After obtaining a college degree, it is reasonable to assume that you had exposure to some basic statistics and calculations. I have not sat for the exam, though, so I can’t say for sure. I just feel as though it can’t hurt to know.
