Anybody have insight into Stevens Capital Management in Radnor, PA? They seem to be constantly posting new positions on various websites. I’m not sure if it is due to growth or turnover.
They’re extremely legit. I believe they started in Bermuda but eventually moved shop after the founders’ kids were old enough to go to school. Don’t know what their exact current AUM is, but it’s a nice chunk of money. Very laid back group. They tend to focus the actual interviews (four in total) on personality fit, but determine intellectual fit based on prior work experience and an extensive background check (i.e., verifying what your high school grades were). They’re located 3 minutes from Villanova University on the Main Line. Think Greenwhich of PA.

yeah they do a background check soooooo extensive that they haven’t hired a “special situations analyst”+5 others yet lol. seriously, who is the owner, or the name of key personnel? (name here) what is AUM (12/31)? ($$$ please) # of clients? website? give me stg other than legitimate, laid back, nice chunk, kids go to school, cmon
I’ve been in their offices as a vendor peddling a risk solution a few years ago. -laid back culture -big AUM. i forget exactly, but it was deep. -mandatory work from 7 to 4 and everyone leaves at 4 no matter what -they are ‘extremely picky’. like their analysts to have CFA and come from top schools. -firm was started in Bermuda. They did extensive research on where to relocate and chose Radnor, PA b/c of the school system for the founders’ kids + easy flight back to Bermuda. -very nice offices, gym on-site Funny, I see the same job postings also. From what I remember, some of the non trading or analytic personnel split time between Bermuda and Radnor.
