Stochastic Calculus and Partial differential equations

I m a CFA Level 3 candidate, planning 2 do FRM, so I jus want to know does the FRM curricullum has the following topics:

Stochastic Calculus and Partial differential equations

Which other Maths topic will also be der?

No, it’s a finance qualification not a maths qualification. What maths is there is there because of it’s application in finance. Whilst these are appicable in finance it is beyond the scope of the FRM. think of the FRM as being the CFA with more a focus on risk than return and you’ll have the right idea. The FRM is more quant then CFA so for those who got through CFA on the qualtative stuff and hated the quant stuff the FRM would be more challenging, for those who were the CFA quants the FRM does not go much further. It’s more focussed on adding Credit Risk, Market Risk and Op risk. Try the CQF if that’s what you’re looking for.
