Super Happy Fun Hypotheticals

I would argue that religion is only bad when coupled with government, a la The Catholic Church during the Middle Ages, or current Sharia law in the Middle East.

Did you play tennis in college? If so, this may be a realistic bet but if not I would bet a lot of money on Connors.

You are aware I’m referring to a 64 year old man that can barely stay on his 2 feet for more than half an hour. I set the bar really low. Imagine if I said who I believe I could really beat.

This is a dilemma. On the one hand curing cancer is cool, on the other hand I believe the planet could live without at least a quarter to a third of its population. There are too many people on my way to work that shouldn’t be there, such as the group of chicks that carry 3 shopping bags each and take the whole sidewalk, the guy standing on the left hand side of the escalator, the dude that holds up the food court line because he can’t decide whether to take Italian or flat bread or the woman that slips quickly through the door while it’s closing fully ignoring the people right behind her even though both of her hands are free. The world needs less of those people.

Well now you have to tell us.

It’s Pete Sampras.

i would eradicate cancer. let me flip it back, would you sacrifice yourself to cure cancer?

Completely eradicate cancer for one person’s life? That’s too easy.

How about sacrificing a healthy person’s life to save 3 or 4 cancer patients.

#GettingHarder

Or, would you rather murder a homeless person Patrick Bateman style or be a gay man whore for a night (minimum 3 dudes and they get to do anything within semi-normal kinky limits)? Pick one and cancer disappears.

#GettingHarder?

i would not eradicate cancer in either case.

Just got full on hard.

moral reasons or religious?

well my basic orientation is: as best as i can, avoid doing bad things by refraining from doing anything unless it can reasonably be assumed to (1) do no harm to anyone (including myself), and (2) provide at least some benefit to myself or others. this isn’t too difficult to do. the real challenge is refraining from doing things that are harmless but unprofitable (i.e. wasting time doing stupid sh!t).

Where does ruining Yayyywork’s life fall under the do no harm mantra?

^i’m not sure what that means.

yea i dont really follow? in what way has he ruined my life? This is an internet message board i really dont care much about it once I go home from work

not that hes really done anything aside from disagree with me on trump stuff, but i mean yes this is obviously TF who i disagree with on most everything.

I was playing off the joke that he turned you into the Alex Jones of the left. It’s all for fun, I was just joking!

Like I said I don’t know who this turd guy is but it’s intetesting how a lot of people seem to have ‘face blindness’ for anyone even the slightest bit to the right of them.
