The last question regarding government spending is the most disturbing. 94% of people do not realize that “healthcare and pensions”, which I assume includes social security, is by far the highest component of government spending. So, we have a bunch of people who are ignorant about basic facts of government finance but yet are taking to the streets to protest economic policy. This is a perfect example of a movement driven by hate towards people that are perceived to be different from the movement’s members.
