I am registered for Junes level 1 exam. Is it possible to switch to Decembers exam date? I checked the CFA institute website but couldnt find anyting on it.
You can withdraw but not switch, and don’t think you get refunded
You can only change the date within 48 hours of registering. This is part of their “buyer’s remorse” policy. If 48 hours have passed, you can’t do anything.
Why do you want to switch? There are still 3 months to study for the June exam. If you don’t pass, then you’ll have time to prepare for December plus you’ll know what to expect.
I just started a new job and i’m also moving in May (same city), so i didnt want to have to stress about the exam also. I guess i’ll just have to suck it up
I was able to switch. I’m in the army and had training. I emailed them and they let me change it from June to December.
Yeah I’ve had a few students who have ‘deferred’ taking the exam. One was having some pregnancy issues, and the other had a pretty horrible car accident. I think they allow you to change the exam date in certain situations, but you don’t get a refund. I also think they deduct a certain amount as a penalty. I agree with horse girl. You have time pal. Just give it a good go!
