t and z values to memorize

Hello,

What t, f and z values do we need to memorize of level 2? Are these the only types we need to memorize? I cannot find anything else in the LOS but I am not sure.

You need to know the same z-values you needed to know for Level I: 68% (1.0), 90% (1.64), 95% (1.96), 99% (2.58).

You don’t need to know any t-values. It would be helpful to know that they’re generally near 2.0.

You don’t need to know any F-values.

It might also be pertinent to know the z-values for either a one-tailed or two-tailed test:

One-tail:

90% - 1.28

95% - 1.65

99% - 2.33

Two-tail:

90% - 1.65

95% - 1.96

99% - 2.58

I, for one, have never seen CFA Institute expect candidates to remember 1.28.
