I took the test in Sacramento - they came around early on in the AM and made us take off our watches and put it on the desk. Did they make you all do that? I also had the privilege of sitting next to SanFranCFA and and Jonodo who are on the forum - we all agreed that forum helped us out BIG time! We had a few good laffs about some of the threads that we were pinging around at towards the end. (Like the Hillary Clinton Behavioral Finance discussion - now thats real world examples!)
- did everyone have to take their watch off and put it on the table?
what? i’ve never heard of such a thing. at my center they specifically said you couldn’t have anything but wristwatches.
In Detroit center, you have to either wear it or put it under chair.
they asked all of us to remove our clothes. oh wait that was another exam.

Ha that is insane! What would be the reasoning behind something like this?
You could secretly write all formulas on your skin and hid it with a huge wristwatch?
We could look at the watch but it had to be on the table… I just found it odd - I didnt remember reading anything about watches on wrists.

The proctors in my room in NYC were very lax. This was the first year they didn’t come around and stare at my drivers license for a few minutes in both sessions. It was refreshing. If someone told me take off my watch I may have laughed at them
Like I brought up before the test - I wish I HAD come dressed as Flavor Flav… “YO SUCKAH! You want me to place my clock on the table?” http://www.analystforum.com/phorums/read.php?13,737334,738027#msg-738027
agreed. in previous years, procters would check my calculator at least 4 times each session. this time, it was only once, but at the worst time. with 2 minutes to go in the AM session and me rushing to answer all the questions I could, a procter comes over to check my calculator.
HAAA - I really can’t get over the audacity of some of these proctors. That is something else though with a few minutes left in the AM. Some of them are just on power trips for some reason.
Bill – Were you in room F at the Sheraton. The two proctors in that room were pretty cool, in fact they were more laid back than the test takers, especially that Asian chick who kept yelling at them to read the instructions faster. I was half hoping they would write her up for some kind of violation.
I don’t think I can do any better than this with a set of notes sitting in front of me. I don’t have time to look up, period.
I was in Sheraton XX…we had two younger girls as proctors…not too easy on the eyes - but they didnt get out of their chairs once to check anyone’s calcs or IDs…I thought Sheraton was a nice venue…only like 40 people in the room I was in Was it all level 3 at Sheraton? I wasn’t sure
No. you guys are lucky. No, I had a friend who was taking Level 2 there too. Our Room F proctors were the same, two young chicks who never got out of their seats. Very friendly, felt sorry for them when the Asian chick went loco (both in the morning and afternoon sessions). It is those types of people who make me wish we had two hardcore Bronx Community College students as proctors to out-attitude her.
There are certainly some crazy people out there - that girl must have been all worked up man - stressed out or something… She was yelling becuase they werent reading the instructions quick enough???
