What determines whether you rebalance to the target weights or the allowable range? The only problem I recall on this rebalanced to the target weights but nothing in the vingette made it obvious as to why.
Unless they mention some constraints, taxes/high trade costs/etc…, you should rebalance to the target weights. If they mention a constraint, the portoflio should be rebalanced to the outer limit of the tolerance band.
