Temporal, current method

Hi,

Are receivables considered a monetary asset? I would have considered it a non monetary and valued at historic rate under temporal…?

I’m a little confused…

what is a non monetary asset then?

Monetary assets and liabilities: cash, receivables, payable, and short-term and long-term debt.

The most common nonmonetary assets: inventory, fixed assets, intangible assets…and :’(

Monetary assets - Cash & marketable securities, A/R

Monetary liabilties - A/P, long-term debt, accrued expenses, notes, deferred taxes

Nonmonetary assets - Inventories, PP&E, Intangibles

Nonmonetary liabilities - Deferred revenue
