temporal method in hyperinflation

does 20% inflation every year over three years meet the requirement for stated as hyperinflation and use temporal method for translation?

no. it would be (1+ 20%)^3 - 1= 72.8%

No you need about 26% for 3 years. If so, U.S. GAAP says use temporal, IFRS says restate all non monetary items using a price index, then use All-current.

thanks for the reply
