Test Bank - Which is best to supplement studies?

Hello –

I have tried searching the forum for opinions on the different test banks, but wasnt able to find anything recent.

I am looking to supplement my studies with an additional test bank and have narrowed it down to:

  1. Finquiz

  2. QBank-Schweiser

  3. Stalla test bank

From what I have read from older posts is that there is a distinct difference between these Test Banks.

I would like to get an idea of which test bank is worth my time:

  1. How the questions compare to the actual exam

  2. How educational/informative are the questions

I studied and passed the CPA. At the time I used Becker, and Wiley test bank.

I learned that Becker does a good job giving more simple questions, allowing me the ability to get a basic understanding of the topic/question. Becker questions were more representative of the actual exam.

With Wiley, the questions proved to be much more comprehensive, challenging, and although not representitive of the actual CPA exam, did help me develop a deeper understanding of topics which in turn helped me pass.

In conclusion, I am hoping to replicate that approach. I am currently using PassedTense, CFAI EOC, which is good for a basic understanding but need a supplement.

I appreciate any and all replies and advice.

Thank you.

I am using schweser and curriculum. But I can say that it is better to refer mostly to schweser notes and curriculum tests and mock exams, and use schweser tests just for revision, athough schweser materials are quite expensive.

I bought finquiz L1 about 3 weeks ago. Didn’t really like. There were errors, the explanations were poor, and the questions designed to trick you in the most stupid ways.

The only good thing about it compared to Qbank Schwes is that it’s mroe conceptual, which is more in line with the exam.

Has anyone used Elan’s test bank ?
