I only found out about this site the day before the exam, but after spending about 1hr looking at various threads and printing a list of common mistakes, I can say for sure that at least I got 4 correct answers from you guys that otherwise would have been a shot in the dark. Thanks and keep it up. Hope to see you all on the the Level II forum.
Me too I heard about this place but never really frequented it. If I pass and sign up for Level II, I’m definitely going to be here much more often
welcome aboard gentlemen/ladies You can go ahead and thank me now
I have been visiting the forum frequently during my preparation but only started posting very recently. I not only learned a lot from the fellow candidates, but also got a lot of support mentally. One of my friends who encouraged me to take this test ended up no show on Saturday since last day of preparation really discouraged him. I felt very sorry for him. I wish I called him on Friday and gave each other support and encouragement.
I was a silent lurker most of the time. I also got a few points on the exam based on reading what problems/solutions you all were discussing. Thanks to all the regulars who seemed to put in a full time job answering other peopls questios and helping out. If it’s L1 or L2 in June, I’ll be here earlier rather than later fo sho! PS - before the exam i couldn’t focus on work, and today i still can’t focus on work as i keep checking this board for peoples reaction!!! I don’t know what to do tonight after work either…maybe I’ll go to the library and start re-reading L1 materials…I could still use some work on bond yield spreads…
Thanks to everyone on this forum from me as well. I only started visiting here about a week before the exam (I tend to do that for some reason…) and it was extremely helpful. Needless to say i will be spamming in these forums more than anyone probably would have ever wanted soon. o_O
I bookmarked various good threads I came across during the time I was prepping so I went over those on the last day. I recommend that to everyone, it’s the best way to revise.
