Thanks for the encouragement!

I am so glad I found this site….I only wish I had found it before I took the exam! I would have spent much more time on all the FSA material. I thought I had studied really hard for this exam, using both CFAI books and Schwezer. I think one mistake was abandoning the CFAI books and those EOC problems in February when I felt like I was running out of time and switching to Schwezer. When I walked out of that exam (SF1), I was so bummed. That AM test spun me around, and I was second guessing myself left and right. The PM test went much better, but by that time I figured I had already failed based on the AM. At any rate, I told myself that I definitely did not pass the test and definitely would not put myself through all that again! Now that is several days post test, I am still sure I didn’t pass, but I am rethinking my “no-retake” stance. The comments from people who took it a second time and felt much better prepared is giving me pause. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past nine years and decided to enter the CFA program for the mental challenge. It has definitely exceeded my expectations in that respect. I really appreciate all the education, advice and encouragement on this site. It just might convince me to go for Level II again.

Stay hot and focused.

@CFASAHM - that’s excellent. you should stay on track! And anyway we don’t know our results yet. As I see it, as tough as this exam is, failing L2 once is just part of what’s needed to really prepare. Like a real-live mock exam. Except it’s the real thing : )
