Thanks to everyone for your help with the material. As much as I love this forum, I won’t be visiting for a while seeing as I’m going on 3 week vacation In theory I will see you in the level II forum Septemberish!
No kidding. This forum has been absolutely instrumental in the huge progress I made between two weeks ago and yesterday.
I remember when I first joined the forum I couldn’t have answered a single question that was posted. Now I find myself able to answer most of the questions. AF has been great.
thanks to all of you guys … thanks to AF
word. got a lot of useful information… too bad i just found out about this site around 7PM on the day before the test.
Yes, AF has been instrumental, I will be back in the forums for L2 as well. Thanks all.
Thanks from me as well to everyone who helped and motivated me *fingers crossed*
Guys, I hope to see you at Level 2 forum -:o). I am impressed and challenged by contributions and questions from you all. I say a big thank you to AF and my you my dear colleagues on the CFA program.
Man, I only joined about a month or so ago. I really enjoyed the forum and wished I joined earlier. It was a big help in only a month, so thanks to all of you as well. I learned a lot just from questions everyone else posted
I would have given up this insanity months ago without this forum. Staring at the amount of books, papers, etc. on my desk and thinking about the past 6 months is still mind-boggling. The study hours, the dreams, the nightmares, the brain &*^#'s, the samples, the mocks, qbank, having a complete break down in the presence of SS9, brain exhaustion, the void in my social calendar, etc, etc… I was pretty much alone here with very few people that came close to understanding what it takes to prepare for these exams (much less pass them!). You all represent the best. Thank you for the motivation and for sharing your knowledge. I wish you all continued success and let’s meet on the L2 forum next year!
surely this forum helped in many ways. Good Luck to every one
I wish I could say it that confidently – see ya in L2. Though I dont feel that I totally screwed it up, I feel I’ve made silly mistakes. I can count upto six instances… monetarists assuming full employment not classicalists ‘highest’ – exaggeration committing violation re: fairness dealing where not just disclosure but also services offering were violations Cash flow to equity to have subtracted net borrowing instead of adding net borrowing Covariance not remembered if there were qns where I had to divide the sum by n-1 Did not see fsa numerical qns which would have a different answer depending on IFRS/GAAP …
