59.7M Pounds (98.7M Dollars) for Angel Di Maria? Holy s**t…Real are making out like bandits.

Ha ha, they went and broke the British transfer record for Di Maria and lost 4-0 to MK Dons, a team who’se entire wage budget is lesser than Rooney’s.

Love how things change in the blink of an eyelid, 2 decades of domestic dominance coming to an end coinciding with the rise of the real Manchester backed by Arab petrodollars and the resurgence of Liverpool.

Stoke kicking ass. Big game at 1130 am.

Really looking forward to the nutter’s debut. This is it for him, if he doesn’t knuckle down here it’s over for him I suspect.

Edit : Did ok, Sterling again. Wow.

Real Sociedad came back from 2-0…damn.

del

couple of great games at the weekend, Arsenal v Man City was a great watch, felt good watching the premier league in the pub again now that these pesky exams are out of the way. The Sanchez goal was a peach and Welbeck looked lively.

The Man Utd v QPR game was interesting. Di Maria is exactly what they needed, a line up with Carrick, Fletcher, Mata, Rooney and RVP is just too flat footed and 1 dimensional. di Maria injected pace and incisive dribbling to the match and Mata, Rooney and the rest looked a lot better for it. Let’s just see how they look against better opposition.

Now we’ve got Arsenal v Dortmund tomorrow and Man City v Bayern on wednesday.

CL matches should be interesting this week. Bayern as well as Dortmund seemed thay had smooth rides this weekend in the Bundesliga, Borussia is happy to have Kagawa back. I think that the Gunners with their improved squad will be too tough for Dortmund, but Bayern can beat the Citizens…

Arsenal - Dortmund will be awesome

Bundesliga with two wins and one draw against PL, I expected different results, esp. for Schalke and Dortmund…

Did anyone notice the referees´ kits in the CL matches?? Looked imo like pajamas…! I would have never entered the ground with such dress…

Arsenal were terrible, Dortmund had a weakened side but totally outplayed them. Didn’t catch the Bayern game but I hear Hart played a blinder and it could have been a lot more than 1-0.

Interesting comments from Mourinho about Costa only being able to play 1 game a week, I might hold off transferring him into my Fantasy Team, I’ll stick with Sanchez for the time being.

I noticed the referee kits too, grey shorts looked very strange!

Just saw the 1st half Bayern, they had some long distance shots, esp. from Alaba, real cool guy. City most often tried to get in the box but Dzeko was´nt able to get good shots on the goal.

Arsenal was really poor, Oezil worst. If the rumours are right, his transfer fee next time will have significantly depreciated…

I wonder how long Ozil is going to get before the ship him out. Wenger’s already playing him on the left more and it’s a slippery slope from there as he’s not suited to playing out wide, tracks back less than Mata.

He didn’t play particularly well in the World Cup but he certainly showed better form than for Arsenal. I’ve heard that he got a lot of criticism in Germany for his WC performances though?

I don’t think Dzeko is good enough for the level Man City want to be at, surprised they shipped out Negredo so quick but it sounds like he pushed the move through. City fans have got to hope that Kun’s dodgy hamstrings don’t start playing up.

Ozil´s WC performance is considered weak, right, he mainly benefitted from his teammates. Had his best time at Werder Bremen

I don’t get why Wenger is playing Ozil on the left. He is one of the best #10 in the world. Play him through the middle. Rotate him with Wilshere and Ramsey. Don’t wait until one of them is injured.

From what articles say, Ozil is sensitive. If he doesn’t have the confidence of his manager and fans, his form drops drasitically. Might as well be 11v10 if he plays on the left.

Jamie Vardy? Who?

What a game that was, from Falcao’s cross to di Maria’s finish and then the total implosion.

City-Chelsea didn’t really get going until Zabaleta walked. It had to be Lamps getting the equaliser. I have a funny feeling that this years title race is going to be pretty dull.

Yep, what´s going on in the PL at the moment?? Supposed underdogs like Southampton, AV, Swansea on top of the table!!

Bundesliga is also crazy, with leaders Paderborn. Bremen seems to be unable to win on the other hand… sad

Di Maria should be the Utd captain!
