Also, can no latin american/ southern euro take a fucking penalty anymore? they should just ban the stunted run ups.
Not sure if that was typical man city or if they were having a bad day. But 3 of the 4 goals came from mistakes. I think on another day, Barca would have won either way but not 4-0, maybe 2-0.
Twas a bad day. I go back and forth with Stones. He looks good in the premiership but has gotten exposed in Europe with top dawgs. Neymar literally waltzed through that defense for his goal. He’s 22 though so can only get better.

He’s pretty good, very Eden Hazard-ish…
Hazard 14/15 or Hazard 15/16?
I dunno, I’ve not been loving the EPL this year. After last years Leicester dream anything was going to be a come down.
Hopefully the title race stays open and hopefully 2017 is my year to go to El Clasico.
Saw some WC qualifying scores flash across the bottom of the screen last night while watching hockey and Messi with a goal. What happened to his retirement from international competition?
It was just a temporary shit fit and he backtracked pretty quickly. He’s not had the best of luck on the international stage.
Talking of shit fits, I’ve officially retired from watching international sport. A 3-0 loss to England at football and then a 1 point loss to Australia at rugby the day after finished me off. I’m tapping out.
Someone has to be trolling him with that statue, it’s horrific.
interesting developments in the France v Spain friendly earlier in the week trialing video technology. A goal ruled out for offside and a goal reinstated for a false offside.
I thought this was a joke but I could see how this could come to be. It reminds me of the story from my own avatar.
Also… the Barca PSG tie was an incredible spectacle despite being marred by refereeing issues
^I missed that game and I’ve not even seen the highlights, I need to get on that.
SPOILERS
crazy CL result between BM and RM. BM doing what BM does best… but they can justifiably feel hard done by the referee. Bad red card and two killer goals in extra time that look offside.
And the Leicester dream is over… hell of a ride for their fans though.
I missed RM v BM as I was watching Leicester. What a great run, the only English side in the CL this year that looked like they belonged there.
Should be a good couple of games tonight. Dortmund Monaco 1st leg was a cracker, Dortmund are incredible to watch, I hope they can keep that team together but it’s unlikely.
I can’t see Barca repeating the magic of the last round but if they can score early it should be a good dame.
Then there’s El Clasico at the weekend.
Although the first leg´s result weighs heavily on Dortmund, it´s still doable for them bc they have good strikers, that is going to be an interesting match.
I think “la vecchia signora” will proceed to the semi finals, Barca won´t repeat the PSG miracle
Dortmund are the team I cheer for in Germany. I hope they do well, just fantastic football being played there. I thought they would have fallen apart with Klopp, Gotze, Kagawa leaving relatively close to each other but they put on a good show with Tuchel. Now the latter two are back and they got Aubmeyang and Schurrle too. I hope they can do the job but they’re away from home and it’s going to be tough to get that first goal.
Don’t like Juve. It’s gonna be an ugly game tonight.
Dortmund are fantastic. Can’t cheer against them but i’m all for my boys from the wrong side of Madrid. Everyone from kings to dictators to mercenaries to foreigners love Real cause it’s the easy option innit with all the bright lights and glamour. Fuck that, give me the grime of Atletico all day everyday.
They’ve come so close twice, lesser teams would have faded into obscurity but they’re still here.
Nuestro legardo sera eterno.
Can someone give me the 101 on what is happening who i should root for and how / when I can watch? If it’s too much work at this point disregard.
