If you play Xavi as a winger, you think he will do well?

It was like being in school again, so much class…

You’re quite an idiot.

And Suarez is a perfect example for my point. He’s played across the frontline throughout his career, even left wing for Liverpool

No, but then he’s a very unique player and there are exceptions. Iniesta can do everything Riquelme can and yet Barca just packed and sent Riquelme to Villareal. One is ‘world class’, The other is not. It’s obvious which player that is.

Kagawa has been given opportunities in his favored position, he was a passenger in all those games apart from the one where he got a hattrick. It’s cliche but the Premier League is too fast for him. That doesn’t happen to ‘world class’ players.

He’s a good player but he hasn’t improved. He should leave. Moyes is a fool and any team built around that fat granny shagger isn’t worth playing for.

Kagawa hasn’t adapted to the speed and physicality of the english league, even when he’s had chances in his favoured position.

Even the notion that RVP getting injured and Kagawa coming into the side is a good thing is crazy. Although I agree that Moyes will find is difficult to get Mata, Rooney and RVP into the same side.

Amazing goal from Rooney, he’s still massively overrated though, can’t wait for him to be shit in Brazil.

No, Riquelme can do far more than Iniesta. Riquelme was an utterly dominant player you could build entire teams around, and he could carry them solo to pretty big heights, Iniesta is a totally different type of player, he is an attacking midfielder who excels at drifting between midfield and the final 1/3, Riquelme is much closer to Xavi than Iniesta.

This “EPL is too fast for Kagawa” is bs. Kagawa IS fast, a fast runner, a fast passer, and a fast thinker. It’s not the player that needs to adapt, but the team. With players of this talent level, you need to accomodate them in the side by changing your setup, Moyes lacks the ability or willingness to do that.

He adapted to the speed and physicality of the german league, why can’t he do the same with the english? He is an extremely skilled player, likely the most technically gifted player on ManU right now. Players like that will do well in any league, but you have to modify the formation to fit them.

I hope you’re not defending a thesis anytime soon.

Kagawa’s Dortmund never relied on running and gunning like this United side. They advanced every 3 yards with a touch and go. This United side can’t string two passes together and their movement is garbage. Technically, no one is close to Kagawa’s abilities, except maybe Mata, the rest are all blunt instruments.

and Fergie did too?

Riquelme never performed at the top top level. he shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same breath as iniesta.

Yes, Fergie did too. Then again, Fergie had no understanding on how to use creative attacking players, especially South Americans.

This utterly dominant player that you could build entire teams on made a handful of appearances for Barcelona when they were a mid table team before they shipped him to Villareal and had a lovely couple of seasons before they too shipped him back to South America.

He was a lovely player who could do amazing things with the ball. ‘World class’ is a term in football that is very stupid but for arguments sake he wasn’t in that bracket.

It doesn’t matter if Kagawa is fast or slow. The GAME is too fast for him, The patterns are too fast for him to interpret, The defenders come in hard and defend on the front foot and he hasn’t been able to adapt.

I like him as a player too mate, He was class for Dortmund but he needs to improve, add a few facets too his game to become a starter. We’re seeing it with Ozil too this season though there are have been clear flashes of his quality. We have barely seen any quality from Kagawa in England

I could expand but the shit you spat out about Suarez going to centre back when i said he should be able to adapt makes it pointless.

Dortmund never relied on running eh? To ’ Touch and go’ you need to run and Dortmund probably ran the most out of any team in Europe last season.

The last point is true. He’s playing for a fool but he didn’t show much under Fergie either.

This is balantly untrue. United under him were the most attacking side in the premier league era.

But fucking hell you watching this Liverpool team? Madness, ripping teams apart.

El Classico on tonight too. Athletico could go top. Lovely 3 horse races in both the leagues.

I don’t know what’s more boring. Watching soccer on TV or reading a soccer thread on the net

Just for you

Which great creative player thrived under Fergie? Apart from Scholes, and I consider him more of a possession retainer. But yeah, Liverpool was good, I like Rogers deploying Coutinho in a holding role, innovative, and similar to what Pep has done with Thiago at Bayern.

Time to go find streaming links for Barca-Real…

Eric Cantona, You don’t have to play through the centre to be creative.

Coutinho not being played in holding, Deeper yes but Gerrard is playing holding.

Score is 1-0 Barca. Proper counter attacking footy from both teams.

Found a sh*tty stream, but Ray Hudson is the commentator. MESSI MAKES A GARLIC MILKSHAKE OF IT!!!

Lol, 1-1 nice game, Very fast.

Why don’t you get it on T.V?

Ha ha, mental.

Class match. Best game in football indeed.
