The stock market according to Bill O'Reilly

“I don’t understand any of it”, around :30

HAHAHA, Everybody gotta have an opinion on everything even if they don’t know shit.

What’s with all that makeup on Maria B? She used to be pretty.

I heard she has a big a$$. Not the good kind.

“…but then when you have a good year and then you see 33% of it go bye-bye…”

Um, yeah, Bill, it’s called volatility and risk. The stock market, like all market time series, are not continual straight lines upward. WTF are you doing commenting outside of your normal realm of “expertise,” in providing circus entertainment for linear thinkers? What a bloated tool; a gasbag of a man.

The fact that Bartiromo, who, to be sure, is also a circus entertainer but should at least have more knowledge of the markets due to osmosis alone, doesn’t viciously call him out after his first remarks as a know-nothing infuriates me to no end.

Everytime I watch one of these talking heads on TV, it makes me like the stock market less. I listen to all these “smart” people on TV and they just sound like used car sales men to me. Lots of lingo, lots of reasons that could easily explain whatever happens all based on anecdotes and assumptions. I’d rather listen to O’Reilly say he doesn’t know anything than listen to that female again.

A quick review of Google images suggests that sitting behind a desk suits her well.

Bill O’Reilly really is a ****

I’m not sure why anyone would care what Bill O’Reilly thinks about the stock market. I’m not aware of anything in his background that suggests he has any relevant expertise beyond the fact that he has a shitload of money.

You have to know the mentality of the Fox News “Joe the Plumber” audience to understand how Bill O’Reilly calibrates his remarks. That said, I’d rather hear him tell his audience not to’t trust the stock market than to hear Glenn Beck spout off about gold as a good investment.

It’s really sad how much fox pushes gold and those scumbag gold companies. I see commercials all the time talking about moving your retirement into physical gold.

It was funny hearing O’Reilly say he invests mostly in municipal bonds (non-taxable investment) to pi$$ off the left. You knew he had to put in at least one punch in there.
