Think twice before posting exam specifics

Someone just posted this on the L3 board, but for those of you retaking, you might remember these guys from last year… https://www.cfainstitute.org/ethics/conduct/Pages/candidate_sanctions.aspx#Disclosure%20of%20Exam%20Content

wow, thats pretty crazy. I think it’s a little shady to post their actual names, especially when they didn’t for other violations. Nothing like some public humiliation.

I think it depends on the violation whether you get private or public censure…these guys definitely went overboard. Pretty sure that they were putting up links to the file and their personal email addresses for people to email them last year. Bottom line…not worth it.

They definitely went overboard though, I do remember this going on and it was a pretty comprehensive list they were getting.

Wow… Funny that after all the Ethics material one goes through, you would think that they think about it twice before doing it. That is simply crazy. I feel bad for the poor blog guy. He probably didn’t even think about it. Does AF allow you to post right after the exam? It would be good if posting, regardless of content, is prohibited to prevent someone from making some silly mistake like this one.

Its normally locked most of the weekened

How did they pass L1? They fail to abide by the EASIEST section of the Ethics.

Wow, the CFAI does not mess around at all. I read through all of those exam-related cases and I don’t think a single person was able to win their case. Look at the LIII candidate who had his results voided and banned for 5 yrs! What a freaking waste!

" After consideration of the evidence in each respective case, the Hearing Panels determined the candidates looked and/or gave the appearance of looking at another candidate’s exam. The Hearing Panels imposed the sanction of…" It said: gave the appearance of looking. Brutal.

I hope I’m sitting between two ugly fat ass dudes. I’ll have no problem keeping my blinders on. With my luck, which is usually pretty good, I’ll get the one perfect bombshell in the entire testing center. And by bombshell I mean an 8.0/10 under normal non-cfa settings.
