We will be done with L2. Wooohoooo!
wtf, u crazy, didn’t even pass yet. Not done till you either pass or quit.
I wonder how hard L3 is. It seems like in the past L3 was easier than L2, but now it’s just as difficult.
shut up and study swap!
The good news is, no more investment tools in L3. It’s all about asset classes and their application, plus PM. I also heard you can get partial points for incorrect short answers. So if you are not good with the theoretical stuff (Quant, Econ, Corp Fin, FSA), it’s all done after you pass L2. The not too good news is, if you struggle with the asset classes in L2, you would probably struggle in L3 as well because L3 assumes you know how to apply the L2 materials. What this means is, either struggle now in L2 or struggle more in L3. I pick the former, YMMV.
i look forward to that day. until then, the books are my only friends. well, and you guys. tonight i’m exhausted and will sleep early. on tap b/c my brain is fried: ETHICS. going to take a drive through soft dollars, ROS, prudent man/investor… hopefully something will stick.
31 days… we can do anything for 31 days. I could not eat for 31 days. I can run for 31 days straight. I once had poison ivy up my butt and it lasted for more than 31 days. Some hippies in Berkeley lived in a tree for more than 31 days. That dude ate McDonalds every meal for 31 days. I could probably withstand 31 days of waterboarding. At this point it’s not a question of perseverance, it’s a question of motivation. Just gotta put your head down and go!!!
