(in my opinion) This website is not meant for lazy people who don’t want to do the work and gather information by going to the CFAI website, talking to charterholders, using the search function, to decide if they want to “be CFAs” when they grow up. This is for people who’ve taken those first steps and have registered for L1 or plan to in the very near future. While you may think that the “noise” created by those people is not that bad, it does cause other posts to move down on the list ,dissapear from view, and not get the attention they require; waste the valuable time of people who are trying to help out around exam time as they open topics up and find rediculous questions, etc.
Well said Super 1, especially the part about other posts not getting their due.
