For those who bought a replacement battery (3v 2032), did you have to change any settings? Or was it good to go once you put it in? I remember when I first for the calculator, the manual (or perhaps the schweser text) said to make some settings changes (like m/y for tvm, for example) but it was already set correctly. just wondering if anything needs to be changed so that a disaster doesnt occur on saturday, as i plan on going to buy some batteries tomorrow
would be great to have at least one anwer to this lol
Was good for me. P/Y set to 1 as default so just had to change decimal points from the default 2 to my preference.
i have nightmares about my calculator running out of battery on saturday
What is m/y? After each question I hit 2nd --> Reset --> Enter and it hard resets everything to default. TMV works fine. The only things that annoy me with this setting are: 1) Only shows 2 decimals so have to mulitply by 100, to get the exact % 2) Order of operations isn’t on: eg 2+5*5=35 instead of 27…have to type 2+(5*5) to get the right answer.
just the decimal places, 2nd FORMAT…
You can move the decimals over. I have 6 decimal places for variance problems. I don’t remember how to do it - check the manual.
p/y , payment per yr
just got back from duane reade. bought a new battery. inserted it. changed decimals. tvm works fine. going to sleep much easier tonight.
