Ok I consider myself a math person and had no issues with any section of quant except the time-series. I am using Schweser and I’m assuming I’m struggling because its condensed… Too much crap!!! I’m just sticking to the basics and moving on to book 2. How many TS questions could possibly come out on the exam?? Anyone else find this section a bit retarded??? If I have time after reading i’ll get back to it… But for now I am happy with knowing the basics!!
the answer is 6 q’s max. from what people say, it’s never been tested on a L2 exam yet since they moved time series to it. it’s like a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. i might have to suck it up and really learn it this year. ditch, i welcome a lunch crunch on time series. it’d be my kryptonite.
6 max? bah I’m done with it… I’ll keep my fingers crossed that all the Quant questions are ANOVA related;) and or error detection, correction etc
I don’t have a crystall ball but i really think it will dominate an item set this year. Last year there were 5 quant questions total, with no time series nor multiple regression.
Really? So they probably put up an incomplete ANOVA table and asked to complete it? lol… That would be sweeeeeet…
seriously, if they didn’t test multiple or time series, whats left?
quant (including time series) and economics are the easiest part of the curriculum. You better worry on the Portfolio Management and Ehtics and know them in and out.
