TIPS is cool…any drawbacks?
As in inflation protected securities? Erm, not really a drawback (especially if you already hold) but yields actually fall when inflation rises (supply and demand takes over)
exactly the coupons are deflation unprotected and the principal is only partially protected vol 3 pg 243
