People were going bonkers in the morning. now its died down a bit. Guess everybody was expecting a BJP victory, but this landslide margin got everybody worked up. Markets went crazy, rupee strengthened; now its back to normalcy.
But good riddance to Congress, this guy shows promise. Lets see how it goes.
Modi is over hyped.
He has been treated as a super god who will transform India into a golden bird once again.
I agree to that and am very sceptic about the tall claims made during this entire election season. He has been advertised as an answer to all of India’s problems and don’t know how this is going to work out now. Still he is the best amonst the lot and does look like he has a plan with him. People are fed up with the NDA govt and that has worked hugely in his favour. But with such a clear majority and coalition poltics out of the way, he really doesnt have any excuse to botch up.
And it does feel good to see the Gandhi’s losing.
That was pretty devastating for Congress, and may well be the end of the party.
If the amount of money that the congress men have transferred from India to thier swiss bank a/c are brought back to India then the networth of each Indian will hypothetically increase by $250000.
