Too Much Studying?

Here’s my plan: I just finished all the readings - Schweser only. Now I’m quickly flipping through each reading summary and doing the concept checkers and challenge problems. I plan on taking the 6 Schewser practice exams: 1 each of the next 3 weekends and 3 leading up to the exam (I have the week off). Additionally, in between I’ll be doing Q-Bank questions and in the CFAI curriculum making sure I understand the end of chapter questions there. Question: Will this be enough and should I have enough time to cover everything? I know there are overachievers on these boards that will do everything and thensome, but I also see a burnout issue by doing every practice exam (including the CFAI ones) as early as possible. Thoughts?

If you are able to accomplish all this and ‘understand the end of chapter questions there,’ then you are among the more prepared. Not really sure what your question is really. “If I prepare a lot and understand all the material, will I pass?” I don’t really know any other way to pass.

tkchunc, Actually - that addresses my question. I guess I’m trying to convince myself that I do have enough time left to get a handle on this. My big concern is that I haven’t done ANY questions until now, just readings. I think I’m pretty clear on most concepts, I just think I might get creamed on the actual format of the exam - I’m a pretty slow reader. Level I wasn’t so bad for me, but I think this one will do me in. Thx.

you are still ok with 5 weeks to go …

i agree . from what i observed (in real life), most candidiates arent as well prepared as peopple in here… and i m thinking maybe 25% will be going in getting intimidated by the lengthy wordy questions they are unprepared for.

I’m in the same boat as you except I did about 1000 qbank questions along the way. Hopefully I can skim review in the next week or two and then attack online practice exams, book6 etc. The next 5 weeks are going to fly by like crazy!!!
