I’m putting together my final week review list. 1. IPS: RRTTLLU, specifically formulate a Risk Tolerance and Return Objective. 2. Wealth Planning : Tax aware investments & low basis stock. 3. DB Pension Plan Considerations: §lan Surplus, §rofits, ©ommon Factor Risks, (F)eatures, (W)orkforce Characteristics also relationship of Firm Beta and Plan Beta. 4. Global Asset Allocation: SAA v TAA, characteristics of ins co & banks, MVF, impact of currency on returns & volatility 5. Bond Rebalancing & Risk Minimization: Dollar Duration Targets, DD Assets v. DD Liabilities, Using Futures to hedge bonds (# of contracts, cross hedging issues, measures of risk, MBS hedging error) 6. Active Investing: Expected utility of active return, portable alpha, components of active return, information ratio. 7. Alternative investments: Know how alt inv impact risk (Sharpe ratio) & return of portfolio, direct v. indirect Real Estate inv, Commodity Returns (roll yield, cash & carry). 8. Risk: VaR calculation methods, Risk Adjusted Performance Evaluation, Hedge Ratio and impact of basis risk. 9. Global Performance Evaluation: Benchmark properties, TWR v. MWR, Calc total return in base currency, Jensen v. Treynor v. Sharpe. 10. GIPS!!! Please post your list so we can revise and refine.

Constant Proportion Portfolio Insurance and Buy and Hold - two of the rebalancing strategies mentioned within the asset allocation material.
Don’t forget constant mix. It performs well in volatile non trending markets!
