I am at downtown of Tortono area. I usually study at the library of UofT. Would like to have a study group for L2 exam of Jun/09. If you have interest, pls email to : peterwch (at) hotmail (dot) COM good luck in study.
Hello, Here are my thoughts for L2 study. 1. I will use schweser notes, practice exam, video cd. 2. I will finish one study session per week. some short session will be combined w/others. total 17 weeks. 3. On Sundays and Mondays, we read the notes and watch video cds by ourselves . Tuesday or Wednesday evening, we will have discussion through phone or skype. Everyone raise their questions and tell others the key points in this session he thinks. We probably can not solve all questions at that night. we will keep studying and do practice exam or Qbank on Thursdays and Fridays. Saturday AM, we will meet together face to face to discuss the rest Qs from Tuesday night. Then repeat point 3 next week. 4.Why do I arrange 2 discussions per week? That’s what I learned from my L1 study group. Generally speaking, people is lazy, including myself. Tuesday’s discussion is a reminder to everyone, don’t forget the CFA study after busy Monday; push people back to notes. Even I didn’t ready any notes before Tuesday, during the discussion , I still can learn some key point from others, will study the details on Thursdays and Fridays , and contribute on Saturday’s meeting. 5. This is the way I used for my L1, works well. But it does not necessary work for you, you’d better choose the way you feel comfortable. 6. BTW,I have no accounting or finance background, will ask silly questions some times. 7. Ideally, the group size is 3 people, max. 4 people.
