Trading is one big video game (article)

I liked this article. Says trading is one big video game. Enjoy. http://www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2011/05/on-the-floor-laughing-traders-are-having-a-new-kind-of-fun/238570/

Skimmed through and thought it was a pretty good read from what I saw. It does seem that the author is totally g@y for trading (assuming trading is a guy).

life is a rollor coaster, you just got to ride it

game: a competitive activity involving skill, chance, or endurance on the part of two or more persons who play according to a set of rules. i’d say many things are games also, ‘game over’ can mean a whole lot more in regards to trading

I didn’t read the article, but once you have a strategy down, it does become a video game. When you get good, you start using your keyboard for shortcuts, macros and executing trades because it’s faster than using a mouse. At my best, I look like I’m playing starcraft. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZF87zRo220&feature=related

He’s widely considered one of the best night elf players out there, even tho Remind (also Korean) is the only representative of that country to ever have won the WCG gold (also plays night elf). If anyone out there plays and wants to solo me, I’m game for it.
