Transactions With Associates

I’m reviewing FRA again and forgot if you subtract both upstream and downstream transactions with associates or just upstream transactions. Can someone provide advice?

for both, I believe it is just the unconfirmed profits that you reduce:

REDUCTION = TransactionProfit X UnconfirmedAmount X (ProportionateShare of the Investee OR unconfirmed profit)

I believe the equation for upstream/downstream is the same.
