I don’t feel like writing an essay defining our way of life. I can’t pump out such an explanation as bchad would be able to do with ease. It would take me hours. Suffice it to say that most of us have it pretty darn good living in the USA.
I don’t understand this statement. Are you suggesting communism? Because in just about any other form of government/market there will be winners and losers.
I absolutely do not want “that” for everyone. If we’re on the same page as to what “that” is.
Then do something about it in a tangible way. This kind of protesting is not making lives better. Our flag and anthem represent an opportunity to realize the “American dream.” (I’m not going to define that either, it is whatever you want it to be.)
Kaep and other “kneelers” disrespect the symbols that have given them the opportunity to gain fortune and fame. Would their talents be realized to equal degree anywhere else in the world? Nay.
These kneelers are misguided in their attempts to bring awareness to whatever issue they’re protesting. Police brutality? Take up the cause elsewhere. Where they operate for instance, in city and state government.
Sorry, in the context of unarmed folks not being murdered by police and then having said murderers continue to walk scot free.
It’s like when a reprehensible racist like Arpaio is found guilty of contempt of court and the Prez says nah you’re a good dude screw that. Things like that, to you know, stop.
I’m not saying someone should take your money or jerb. No worries.
NFL players have the right to kneel etc. during the anthem.
NFL owners and coaches have the right to agree or disagree with it or even commend or condemn the player(s) for it. (the player’s time is on their dime)
You have the right to have and express opinions about it.
I have the right to have and express an opinion about it.
Trump has the right to have and express an opinion about it.
All this freedom of expression brought to you by the constitution of the United States for which our Flag and National anthem are just a representation.
lol what? Most people stand against the racism built into the very fabric of the confederacy that was established specifically to fight against the united states of america. Owning black people was so important to them they were willing to fight and die for it (even though the vast majority could never afford to be a slave owner, times never change they always convince the poor to die for the rich)
Everybody deserves freedom of speech (Unless it’s an unpopular opinion, of course. Whitey and those that support whitey are unpopular, and therefore deserve no such protection.)
NFL players don’t have freedom of expression during games. They have to wear uniforms. They can’t swear or do embarrassing things on camera that might hurt the franchise. In other words, freedom of speech doesn’t apply, or is limited, when they are working and getting paid. This is the same as any workplace. For the moment, the NFL condones the kneeling. However, the league can decide that the players can’t kneel, and can presumably fire any player who does not follow their standards of conduct.
“wah wah wah, it’s not my fault. It’s those evil leftists making me this way, trying to censor ugly speech and push through equality. I didnt want to do it but they made me vote for Trump” - every whitey ever
No need for political correctness, The simple fact of the matter is that white people are a sick people. Deceiving, thieving and heartless people. No need to do some nonsense like introspection and wonder why Trump got elected, spirit bird had seen this all before, seen it all before.
Soldier on my good countrymen, fight the good fight.
Some people are so weird, if there is confrontation they are like why arent they peaceful?. If they are peaceful why are they doing it on television? If they do it on the streets why are they blocking traffic. The only acceptable form of protest to these cunts is to do it in your own house where no one can see it.
