Fair enough. I voted for Hillary yesterday in the Mass primary. It was awful but that’s the approach I took as well. From your post I thought you were advocating not voting or something else entirely but now I see it looks like you were addressing Republicans.

except our guy wasn’t status quo. he was a conservative who liked to complicate the tax system. he also swung far to the right on social and humanist issues. his party also was caught up in scandal and violated its own anti-terrorism law that it enacted a few weeks before. plus, in Canada, nothing really changes. we all support abortion, gay marriage, etc, and there are only minor differences in economic policy, unless you go NDP.
I still don’t even believe Trump wanted to be POTUS. He originally joined the race because YOLO. Treated it as a reality show and to his own surprise gained traction with his BSD atttiude 'merica fuck yea audience. Now he’s stuck with it probably thinking/hoping Clinton is gonna win anyway because backing down purposely would be a hit to his ego, but narrowly losing would boost his status. He has to realize that he can’t be the intollerant obnoxious self in the actual seat and his businesses would have to take 2nd priority, which I can only imagine he’s a little more interested in than 80% of politics bs he’d have to deal with on the daily.
My personal opinion (from the irrelevant Canadian perspective), is I’d choose a guy who actually ran businesses over a career politician any day, even if choosing the lesser of 2 shitty evils. He’s popularity has nothing to do with that, funny enough. Either way, sadly Hilary gots dis.
