Trump

Can single handedly lower oil prices. OPEC will listen to him. He also has “a great relationship with th blacks.” Discuss.

i’m pretty sure he doesn’t get it he’s more likely just pumping is brand

He has a great point that many people in the government don’t even want to talk about: China’s manipulation of their currency. I think that is the bigger issue than OPEC. If you place a 25% tariff on Chinese goods that will definitely wake some people up. I don’t know if this would be the best move but we need to do something because what we are doing now is not working.

What do you mean? The US government has been pressuring China to float their currency for a long time. However, in practice, there isn’t much that the US can do without hurting itself. If we introduce a tariff on Chinese goods, the price of well… everything in the US will go up significantly. Consumption will plunge, followed by equity markets.

They will then do it, and there will be no other consequences.

Are you kidding me? He will ask the Chinese Government to come to his boardroom and say “You’re Fired!” That’s it! Problem solved

Guys, with the massive amount of oil in Iraq(Trump knows these things) we shouldn’t be fretting, we should be drinking mojitos, kicking our feet up and learning how to drive down Easy Street. According to Trump, Iraq has $15T of oil reserves (although it may be less once he forces OPEC to drop the oil price), which we could use to rebuild Iraq, pay down the national debt and create as many reality TV shows as we want. His ideas are so brilliantly simple, I can’t think why nobody has thought of them.

This idea about Iraq is the nastiest, greediest comment I heard from a candidate. Whatever the fuck is Iraq oil worth belongs to the Iraqi people. We did go to Iraq (which my opinion was a mistake), we spent our tax money (sucks) on rebuilding Iraq. No Iraqian asked us too. They don’t have to pay us back with their oil. They just live so below the way we do, we shouldn’t need to take whats theirs. That s pure fucking greed , its very childish in my opinion. Even though we all know we went to war simply because its a positive NPV project, as a candidate, saying that hoping to win some votes is unexcusable, I hope that clown with a wig goes down in the polls with these kinds of comments. He should just offer a mojito on him and let give free green fees at his golf courses to win the public opinion

I think in Trumps mind with the China tariff is that will bring back the millions of jobs this country has lost to China and even the playing field. It will raise prices for everyone though.

nvm

Was in Atlantic City last night (my first time) His casinos looked dumpy, i didnt even go in and opted for Borgata instead. If thats how he maintains his “properties” we are screwed.

How’s Borgata?

Nice. Seemed very new. Pay for park. What a joke. They rig the games and then charge you to visit. HA I went there with the intentions of eating dinner at seablue; it was closed at like 8:45 WTF. SO had dinner at the Bobby flay, lamb rack, it was good. Not much for tap beer choices. Lots of Liquor tho. Blackjack was intense, In the entire casino there was 1 $5 table most were $15 & $25. Obviously the $5 was packed, but i did ok at the $15’s. Doubled up so walked out +$200, no complaints. I just prefer 5’s & 10’s so when the deck goes to shit i can drop my bet. FYI people, The Water Club is NOT an extension of the casino with more shops or anything to look at at night because it is just a hotel, I got turned away by security after walking down a hallway. Noob. also. I wish we had craps in MN because then i might have a chance to learn.

You are quite mistaken to say that the US hasn’t taken a stance against China on this issue. Anyways, more importantly, the real effect of the currency fixing may not really be that much at all. Remember, if the currency is allowed to appreciate, prices in China will drop to reflect that (fewer dollars per yuan flowing in).

I havent bothered reading all this. But basically if trump wins, America is gonna make a whole new set of enemies.
