TT or 2017 Mock exams by CFAI?

I only have time for two more CFAI AM exams (done 2010, 2013, and 2016) and will be doing 2015 and 2014

then would like to do either TTs or 2017 Mock but won’t have time for both… which ones should I do?

AM + PM Mock 20 vignettes in total x 6 Q each. TT are about 70 vignettes with over 400 Q in total. Regarding time concern this is not comparable.

Should have been more clear… some of the TTs like my weak areas…

Go with Mocks, you practice time management doing Full Mocks in real conditions. Otherwise, choice is exactly the same.

My least fear about the level 3 exam is the time management in the PM section (different story for AM). Consistently finishing well under 2hrs 30mins in mocks (schweser and official PM). Therefore, doing Topic Tests in areas that need improvement is not a bad idea as time management is not a factor.

Remember, the Topic Tests are essentially the same as the mock questions.

Mocks are cases selected from TTs?

Yes. They’re removed from the TTs in a given year and turned into a mock. Next year, some of the TT cases we did this year will be in the 2018 mock.
