I know its too basic a question but its better to ask… Please help me identify and categorize following industries into Value/growth : (would be great if you can also give an example of Basic, Consumer Discretionary and Utilities) Basic Industry - Energy Consumer goods/Services Consumer Discretionary Utilities Health Media IT Financial Thanks

value - utility, Energy, Consumer goods/services and financial Growth - Technology, consumer discretionary and Healthcare Not sure about the media but I believe it is value

consumer discretionary is basically industry in which they sell luxury items. For ex - Stock of Harley davidson, porsche etc
