When I was a kid we umbrellas had a much longer lifespan than now.These days they don’t keep you dry as much and often break down in wind or turn inside out. I also don’t feel like spending so much on them because you are paying for the brand and not quality.Anyone else having similar experiences ?

I bought the WindJammer by ShedRain 3620 62-inch Manual Open Vented Golf Umbrella on Amazon for $18 (Prime). I purchased mine in 2013. It has performed very well. BSD umbrella at BOM prices. Note the 62 inches…that’s 60 more than I’m used to.
