has any one ever seen a decent value chain diagram for an investment bank or investment firm? all the value chain diagrams seam to largely focus on manufacturing company’s? any ideas any one? anyone?
There are so many value components in finance that do not necessarily stack up to each other. For starters, what is the value chain relationship between ER, M&A, and S&T? It would take some deep insight to get this stuff straight. Look at the mortgage fiasco we are in. I think people are still looking for heads to cut… This is such a confusing industry…
