Y’all, I know a growing VC firm in China who wants to get a piece of US pension fund and FOF investment for expansion. Since they have no presence in the US, I am spearheading their fundraising efforts in the US. Does anyone have insight on asset managers, public/private pension funds that maybe good target? How about the likes of CALPER and QPAMs? What regulations apply here and what are some due diligence issues you see?
