Saying that paul ryan is some puppet of soros because (lets be clear, its not because he got 10,800 usd from soros) he made a statement about how he wasn’t gonna be lining up to be 100% subservient to trump, is some real weak bs. our family are friends with a politician family out of ny. the guy is a congressman, upper house, and has had his seat for full 2 terms now. He tells me the media and the public focus on 10k here and 15k there and some travel services and benefits…He said it’s not money that we, politicians, get swayed by…They are usually rich or at least come from a very well off family. What they get swayed by are by the intangibles - CONNECTIONS - dinner with Harvard president with your kids while “touring” Boston and its area, or meetings with top executives, etc…IF you agree to whatever they semi want you to say and/or do…so it’s not just 10k and this is neither where it starts nor ends…It is the CONNECTIONS that have far more weight than money…These connections will get you to the elite group in terms of position, power and prestige. When you have these, money will just come flowing because it is the “seat” that brings in wealth…(my other post about how the seat gives you wealth in finance and not specifically skills in picking and timing stocks…)
Now i am not saying who is right or who is wrong here…so don’t crap on me… I am simply saying don’t overlook at intangibles…As some of the AF members have said above, it is not about the people but about keeping your seat- the seat at this level is worth fighting for even if it is against your conscious.

I think this is an insightful piece.
The administration doesn’t have shit when it comes to actually knowledge about getting stuff done, and they likely don’t have any coherent ideology or ideas about what to do, so when something seems vaguely undesirable, probably because Trump saw it on Fox or infowars, he goes and tries to tear people, now Paul Ryan, down. Because thats all he knows how to do - attack people. Because he’s simple minded, and thinks in a very transactional, conflict oriented view of the world. They’ve never moved past how they acted during their campaign.
Now they’re blaming Ryan? Let’s see: Soros, Deep State, Clinton, Obama, the media, FBI, CIA, NSA, and now the Speaker of the House for his own party? What do you expect Ryan to do, put up a bill to completely dismantle Obamacare and wipe out his majorities just so the thing will never pass?
The only relief I get thinking about the Trump presidency is that there’s so much chaos that they’ll never be able to get anything through.
