What is average life then? IS it realted to WAM?
yes, but it takes principal payment into account, so you could have a mortgage for 15 years, but really most of the principal is paid off earlier (say by year 10, 80% of the principal is paid off), so it doesn’t make sense to say maturity is 15 years.
