CFA used to publish congratulatory message for charterholders. “On Thursday, January 17, CFA Institute ran congratulatory announcements in The Wall Street Journal, The Globe and Mail, Financial Times, and South China Morning Post to recognize the 6,427 investment professionals who completed the requirements to receive the CFA charter in 2007.” Is this practice still continued? Do they put names of successful level 3 candidates on wall street journal?
I take it to mean no wall street journal mention.
I believe they still do this.
obviously it’s complete the requirements, not pass level 3??? but no, i doubt they publish all the names… but i’d be very impressed if they did.
They published them in the WSJ until last year although you wouldn’t see all of the new members. Different regions of the U.S. publish their own WSJ so only that region’s new members were listed in each edition. This year, there was a generic congratulations page in the WSJ. There was a link to a web page that you could go to to see all the names. Quite humorous actually seeing thousands of names all scrunched together like that.
