i will forward it over to the recruiter for that particular position. maybe even hand deliver it to the right person if he/she’s in the same office and i really think you have a good chance…
Q&A am i myself a recruiter? no. will you have a better chance than applying on the website? yes. will you get the job just because i referred you? no. will i be eligible for a referral bonus if you get an offer? yes. does that create a conflict of interest for anyone involved? no. did you need to pass Level # this past June for this opportunity to apply to you? no. will i refer you if you have no relevant experience for the job you apply for? no.
are you looking for a new job, whether you passed or failed? probably.
i failed L3 last year, applied through my friend’s referal and got the job. so all you people who didnt make the cut this year, dont give up. apply anyways. theres always a chance as long as you give it a try…
if you have any other questions, feel free to email me about anything else. good luck.
If you are in fact legitimately trying to rip off you’re employer (rather than just trawling for resumes as someone else speculated) I sincerely hope this backfires on you. Either you get exposed or one of your referrals ends up doing something bad which sticks to you.
^ Really? You feel bad for BlackRock? That’s funny.
Actually there is no rip off at all. The OP will only forward resumes that fit (with relevant experience) and BlackRock may or may not hire one of them. They got a larger pool to choose from and the OP get’s a bonus. Everybody wins. Oh, except the little whining b****.
Thanks for picking up the typo. But get real. Black rock hr dept can vet applicants’ CVs. The purpose of referral programs is tap into employees’ social networks. That is, they want to pay you to refer your friends. People you trust. Not randoms off AF. This dude will refer strangers to his employer for short term gain. I don’t care about black rock. I just get disgusted by this sort of deceitful behavior.
Say OP gets sent 30 resumes, he can pick 2 he thinks are the best, submit those as referrals.
The 2 people who got the referral would probably have a better chance of being looked at anyway, and may have a better shot of getting the job. If it works, OP makes a few thousand referral fee.
There is value to OP and the person being referred.
To everyone who is going to send this guy their resume: be careful.
No offense to the OP but if you don’t know him I wouldn’t send your resume. Lots of people nowadays will randomly collect resumes to steal identies, open fraudulent accounts, etc.
I would only send the resume if OP would be willing to reveal exactly who he is as well.
^^great point verse214. If anyone dumb enough to send op their personal details gets their ID stolen or starts getting a whole lot of junk mail or unsolicited phone calls from scammers, please come back here and let us know. Also, clip1989, the point is that if the referral is made on the false premise that op knows, trusts and personally recommends the applicant, this is misleading, putting ops interests before employer, etc. Anyway, I’m sick of bumping this to top of forum. Still think mods should remove it.
