The WEF has just released this year’s GCR. The U.S. has maintained the #1 spot as the world’s most competitive economy. http://www.weforum.org/gcr I can’t help but wonder how relevant this data really is in the current economic climate, but surely things like education, infrastructure, innovation, etc. must still mean something. I am interested in getting my hands on an xls sheet with the detailed global metrics. I think it will do a great job of improving my understanding of the different players in the current global economy, but all I could find was the sheet that lists the overall rankings.
