What are you going to do after exam?

Have got used to read CFA files everyday…

I spent all of yesterday nursing a hangover on my couch. I watched Snakes On A Plane and the Muirfield golf tourney. It was awesome to do absolutely nothing yesterday.

lol…I have peeped into Level 2, I have collected soft copies of the Schweser 2009 study notes. Every weekday, my study timetable is 6.00pm to 9.00pm at the office. I want to keep to that until April 2010. (!)

Before exam, I planned not to take off the posted formula sheets from my room wall, but after coming from the exam, I just couldn’t bear them and tore them away  I am just enjoying my time relaxing, watching movies and socialising. I don’t even want to hear anything related to finance for a week. I am not going back to work till next week! :stuck_out_tongue:

I just spent the last 30 minutes explaining the differences between the CFP and CFA to a coworker. “I heard the Series 7 is harder than the CFA” Yeah…umm…not even close.

I spent yesterday mowing lawns and recovering from a pretty harsh hangover. Today after a full day layover, I am starting to study for my CAIA-L1 test. I am also contemplating the CIPM and Black belts certs…thanks for that nbyz…or is it nybz…I can never remember.

I played soccer with a hangover on Sunday… that was interesting. Then I ate one hell of a big steak afterwards.

@cowtown, what’s CAIA all about? is it pretty much exclusive to hedge fund industry, is there that much additional benefit with having CFA and CAI? thanks, john

@Jpgrandits This is a hot topic on AF, and I have my own opinions on it. Its complimentary to the CFA, it expands heavily on the small AI section. Topics include a heavily weighted and expanded quant section, real estate, private equity, hedge funds and so on. The topics look really good, you can get it by writing 2 tests (sept/march), and schweser provides products for it. Beyond all that, the stuff interests me and it is a growing designation with more and more presence around the world. In 5 or so years it will have a similar structure to the CFA, except the CFA is in the mature stage and the CAIA is in growth. Check out the forum for CAIA on AF, link is on top right of your screen.

spent time with my mom, who is close to passing away from cancer. It was incredibly difficult studying and spending time with her, but I felt great being able to tell her the exam went well.

Hey engineer, that’s very sad. I’m really sorry to hear that.

i spent 45mins in a queue in a bar at the excel centre london so i culd get a pint, actually ended up getting to becos i didnt want to requeue. it was magnificant

Playing golf. Going to the gym again.

Missed my zumba classes for a week already, back on track now. Loads of work in office, feel like kicking my manager’s a** ( I always feel like doing it even if I have no reason… )

well if yesterday and today are any indication then I will likely end up in an insane asylum while waiting for the results. this is highly out of character for me as I’m usually more relaxed about things like this but this sux! Economics is haunting my every thought. Damn you Keynes, Phillips, and the utilitarians! I’m going to DC on vacation next week I’m sure that’s all I need is some room between me and anything with the letters “CFA” or “AF” in them.

Had a monster steak! Then cooked a monster tri-tip yesterday (you guys on the east coast miss out soooo bad!) I have been trying to catch up on sleep, but I cannot go to bed until really late and still wake up way to damn early

my sleeping timings have gone haywire…i actually went to the exam hall with 3 hours sleep cause i couldnt sleep with the exitement…now i cant sleep at night
