just curious INSTITUTIONAL INVESTMENT CONSULTANT XYZ COMPANY is in the process of hiring an experienced and ambitious professional for the position of Institutional Investment Consultant. The position will assume responsibility for supporting the firm’s Senior Consultants in providing advice, recommendations and meaningful analysis to institutional investors including defined contribution, defined benefit, endowment and foundation clients. This includes working with clients in areas of investment policy, asset allocation, manager selection, vendor searches and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have mutual fund/investment securities experience, 401(k) and/or defined benefit plan knowledge and possess strong organizational and writing skills. The candidate should be a fluid and polished communicator with group presentation experience. List of key needs/requirements in a candidate Minimum of 2 years of experience within the financial industry. BA/BS degree required. Professional designations, including CFA and CIMA preferred. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Morningstar Principia experience. Strong writing skills with samples available for review. Broad knowledge of mutual funds/investment managers, asset allocation, and basic investment concepts. Group presentation and/or training experience.
