What do you guys think of Arif Irfannulah CFA Level 1 Videos?

All,

What do you guys think of Arif’s video (http://www.arifirfanullah.com/cfa-2012-videos/2012-CFA-Level-1-Videos), does it cover all the material, is it ok to invest time in going throug them?

Ados.

Everytime someone talks about this guy, you get people with 2AF points only saying that he is the God of all Gods…I have never tried him just because the people vouching for him look very fishy. I will give some of his QM videos a try and see for myself.

i agree with you, i just want to make sure that he’s stuff is really good and helpful from exam point of view.

His level 1 videos are available free anyway, so give it a shot for a session and see for yourself.

True, plus something i did was play the videos (Schweser ones) on my ipad while I was driving. Everysingle time you may not notice it but you might grasp little details that could come a long way

Hi Ados,

The link in our post is for my 2012 which are avaiable for a fee. I’d suggest you look at the 2011 videos which are on YouTube. They are completely open and free. Other than Econ the material is relevant for 2012. You can access these videos from my website. After listening to a video you can post any questions you might have. Lots of CFA candidates are listening to these vidoes so there is a good chance someone will repond to your questions. When I have time I also try to respond to questions posted against my videos.

Thank you Arif for posting response, I am going through 2011 videos but I just want to make sure that material is relevant for Dec, 12 exam too, must say your videos are good way to get concepts but then again…for someone coming from non finance background, going through videos once is not enough…my main concern is that for CFA Level 1, how much percentage of course match between 2012 and 2011, also would it be wise to give first preference to your videos to get understanding of finance concepts from CFA exam point of view.

Other than Econ the material is very relevant. I’d say the match is over 95%. If you are studying from Schweser Notes you can simply listen to my video after doing the reading. After listening to the video go over the 2012 Curriculum examples and practice problems. If you need further help you can write to me at arif.irfanullah@gmail.com

I find Arif’s videos > Schweser videos.

I’ve been watching both and I realized that I grasp the concepts a lot better with Arif’s videos every single time. Most of the Schweser lectureres just read off the slides or are simply unbearable to listen to (Jonathan Bone).
