the 3 places I would call are
(a) the test center (and I’d go there in person as well and ask)
(b) the LOCAL CFAI society

if the proctors found it, most likely it would have found its way to the local society
if the cleaners found it, and turned it in, most likely it would be in the lost property
I’d do that ASAP, and if there’s no sign of it within a couple of days, then (I’m assuming it’s a Canadian passport)
(a) file a police report
(b) go to the nearest passport office and tell them you’ve lost it (take other ID with you). You’ll get forms for a replacement passport and a form you have to full in to report a lost passport which has to be (I want to say notarized but it’s something along those lines, you have to make a sworn declaration and it may have to be witnessed by an attorney)
© if you lose a second canadian passport, that’s an automatic security file
(d) if by some fluke of luck (very unlikely) the original passport turn up after you reported it lost to the passport office, take it down there and give it to them and ask them to destroy it: it probably won’t stop them issuing a new passport but it may well stop you getting a security file
